Easy 3 Step Braided Hairstyle

post featured image

Thanks to Suave Professionals for sponsoring this post.

Today I am sharing an easy hairstyle that can be used on day old curls. Typically on day two or three my curls start to lose their volume and curl. To get my hair style to stretch another day or two I do this easy braided hairstyle that can be done on any length of hair. I like it because it keeps my hair out of my face and you aren’t just pulling your hair back in the normal ponytail. Plus it takes only 5 minutes!

 1. Start with your day old curls and section off one piece of hair just below the temple. Take that section and braid it. Secure with an ponytail elastic. Do the same thing on the other side and secure with an elastic.

2. Next take each braid and pull apart to loosen braid to achieve a thicker looking braid. Once you have done this, take both braids and secure together in the back of your head at the bottom of the halo.

3. Finish with Suave Professionals Luxe Style Infusion Volumizing Plump Hold Hairspray to hold braids in place. I also spray throughout while I scrunch my curls, to hold the leftover curls in place.

Now it’s your turn! Share your “Style It Yourself” with #SIY. I am always looking for easy styles I can do myself!
