A question I often get asked when traveling is what are some of my favorite spots to eat and visit. Our most recent trip to NYC was mainly business, but we definitely didn’t go hungry. It was pretty fun finding some really cool , trendy spots to eat and drink in the city.

The first spot (pictured above) is the bar and restaurant in Nomo Soho, this is actually where we stayed while in NYC. If you have yet to visit, it’s a must. The bar/restaurant looks like a green house with hanging chandeliers. The breakfast is my favorite on the menu and their french toast is to die for. The drink menu are really good too. Even if you just stop by for a drink, it is worth the view!

A favorite lunch spot while in NYC is sweet green. They have many locations and you guessed, they served all greens. Think big salad bowls with the most delicious combinations. You can order off the menu or create your own. I get the Spicy Sabzi every time and I wish I could recreate this salad at home. I would eat it every single day.

We stumbled across Seamore’s when walking to breakfast one morning and the outside itself makes you want to eat there. It is so cute. The tacos there are AMAZING, like life changing. I had the veggie tacos and I truly have never had tacos as good as they were…and they were veggie!! Michael had the fish tacos, which were delicious as well. I highly recommend for lunch or fun dinner.

My favorite spot for breakfast is hands down The Butcher’s Daughter. The menu is completely vegan and you can’t go wrong with anything you order. I wanted one of everything off the menu. So yummy, fresh, and good for you.

The juices alone were so yummy. I had to order the avocado toast. The bread was so thick and yummy and this was the first time I had egg on mine and it was so so good. I can’t wait to go back here!

Last, but not least, by CHLOE. was another great lunch spot. It’s vegan, plant based and locally sourced ingredients. I find it crazy that so many places in NYC are like that and I loved how fresh everything was. They have yummy salads, juices, burgers, fries, a whole breakfast menu and so much more. I wish I would have gone more than once to try more on the menu. Another place I will go back to when I am in NYC again.

What are your favorite spots to eat in NYC?

  1. I am a loyal & hugely impressed follower of your bog, IG pg, and LTK It page. My LTKI has been glitching for @ a month. I contacted them & tried to remove cookies etc that they suggested to no avail. Sadly, I now go to your blog to follow links instead. I really want to purchase the white, open shoulder sweater you just posted and posted prior…. Could you possibly email me the link bc I noticed it is still not on the blog? I appreciate it. Or DM me on IG?
