What is your favorite street style? Mine changes on a daily basis. It all depends on my mood, the season, and where I may be heading that day. Ladylike, feminine, classic and timeless are all words that come to mind when I think of my street style. As of late my city has been pretty gray because of the long winter, but that just inspires me to wear a lot of happy patterns, materials and colors. I love the fact I can wear this ensemble to work meetings, and then straight to an evening on the Kansas City plaza. Michael and I love to go out and explore what our new city has to offer. It’s our weekend ritual to head to a new restaurant and then explore the shops around. Maxi skirts, in my opinion, are one of the most comfortable, flattering, and forgiving items of clothing to wear, and they’re also surprisingly versatile too. They’re easy to add layers over, as well as hide layers under, making them the perfect transitional piece headed from winter into spring. Today’s look, I styled this chic two-toned pleated maxi skirt with a vibrant abstract sleeveless top all from Sears! I layered the ensemble with the perfect topper, my favorite leather jacket dropped over my shoulders and quilted handbag. Another way to style while we wait for this cold weather to get gone, is a cozy sweater, like the one here. From dressed up to causal, to chic and feminine, my street style is ever evolving. Now it’s your turn. Describe to me what your street style is using the #SearsStyleFind and @SearsStyle for a chance to win a $300 gift card to Sears! Just follow the steps below.
